View this post on Instagram Day 80: Controlling Light with My Mind Watching Michael Reeves make a mind-controlled car inspired me to make a mind-controlled light in TouchDesigner. I played with the material and text and used the Muse device with OSC to change the light to reveal more text. Using Beta wave data, I could control things with focusing my mind. The idea is that the moment you try to read/concentrate on the words, the light gets small. The problem was, it's easy to train yourself how to change these waves easily on command, so sometimes, I turned this into a switch unintentionally. #100daysofshadersandtextures #100daychallenge #100daysproject #100dayschallenge #100dayproject #touchdesigner #materials #text #muse #mindcontrol #musedevice #brainwaves #betawaves #lighting #spotlight #osc #musemonitor #mindmonitor #museheadband #learningprocess #ouscrippsmfa A post shared by Hope Moore (@hopemoore27) on Jul 29, 2020 at 3:03pm PDT Device Used:Muse Resources:Derivative TouchDesignerMind Monitor
