Friday Night
Friday night was fun! Went bowling with friends from school..
first time bowling in 15 years or so..I think I was in kindergarten or 1st grade when I bowled last..I could barely pick up the ball..
This time, I was a little stronger..I used to think 3 pounds was heavy and started lifting 5 lb. weights just for some extra excersize..well, it must have worked fast because I at times used a 9-lb. ball an originally thought it was 4-5 lbs.
so I bought 10 lb. weights this weekend..they are a little light, but I think it wouldn't be good to jump from 5 lbs. to 15 or 20 so I bought the 10s..that will last me a week or two and then I'll see if I can't put the 5 and 10s in a bag and lift those instead of buying 15-lb. weights..then I'll use my dad's 20s..my goal is 15 to 20 lbs. by next quarter..I know it's not much, but I would like to be a little bit stronger..never know when it'll come in handy..all I know is that it's better than complaining that 3 lbs. is heavy..
well, back to bowling night..Bola, Dave, Chris, Barbara, Justin and Matt were there..The great bowlers were all on the left side while Bola, Matt, and I were on the right..
Honestly, Matt should have been on the left side and with the score Bola got the first time, her, too..and lonely crappy bowler (me) would stay on the right..
First time, I got a 15..yeah, you read it right, a 15..the scoreboard was like, 0000000708..
Luckily, the second time, I used the pretty orange 8-lb. ball and started throwing harder and got a 52!!! Huge improvement!
My feet were killing me and I worked up a small sweat (I'm not used to walking around in crappy flat shoes and throwing a 7-9 lb. ball around for however many hours we played)..but I wanted to go for another round of bowling..I was determined to improve that score! But everyone else was tired..
So, luckily, I was able to follow Barbara (crazy driver, Barbara, lol) to Hilliard to eat at Friday's with everyone..it was the first time I ever did an illegal U-turn! I didn't fair too well with that..
Actually, I got lost on the way to the bowling alley..I went way north..
at least now I know my roads..
..except in Hilliard, which I've been about 10 times and even got my license there, but I haven't learned the roads..all I know is they seem to go around and around and around..and I always have to follow someone back to I-270..

It's supposed to me stupid, weird, and funny and I realize 65 is actually very slow..
There is one I'm working on "For the Longest Time" or w/e it's called..but it's about how I haven't had a radio for the longest time..
sometimes I'll just sing christmas songs and adlib with thoughts..
a 30-60 min. commute REALLY sucks! I wish I lived in Columbus..or should I say, I can't wait to live there someday..
Unless I actually decide to go to Ohio University in 2-5 years, I still think the first place I'd move once I move out of my parents' house is Columbus..it will probably be the crappiest area of the city because I'm poor..at least I wouldn't have anything worth stealing..except maybe a computer/laptop and all my photography equipment..and a boombox and a TV and all my DVDs (I'll take half of our collection here at home because I'm the one who buys 3-5 DVDs everytime I go to a Super Walmart)..DVD player(s)..and all my CDs (not that anyone wants to really steal Britney Spears and *NSYNC stuff anyway)..
