Geez..
First, I find out that timecards were due today, so I rushed up north after my mom went to the dentist and got to school around 11:30/11:45 or whatever..I took another 1 1/2 hours in the Welcome Center making tour packets..then I came all the way back home..
Found out the the play wasn't in Dublin, but off of S. High St...shouldn't have been so much of a suprize that it was down an alley-looking drive hidden among old houses..Sam and I pictured a big nice building..
I get there and the lady is all like, "We're not handicapped accessable.." and I'm like, "That's ok, I can go up stairs..how many are there?" and she said, "Several"...
Well, "Several" ended up being only about 7? stairs..not bad, except walking with clunky high heel platform shoes also over gravel..
The president of the Shamrock Club was really nice! He rocked!
After we get behind the registration table, the lady gives me the job (that really wasn't a job lol..you'd get it if you saw Act 2) and Huong the "hard" stuff, which after time and time again of treating her like a five-year-old, the lady really ended up doing Huong's job..Sam was left with really nothing to do but stand around..
One girl (who was the girlfriend of some guy who had tickets) had a ticket for Sunday, but came today and was willing to pay for another ticket..She was told to wait downstairs..
A couple came in later and were walk-ins, too..their name was written down in the book (in my mind, that gives them first dibs) and I was like, "Put their names as number 2 because that one girl was here first.." I was ignored..not by Huong, but by the lady, doing her job..
They didn't have change, so for the one girl (who came in third, somehow), I was about to give her $3 of my own to make it fair for her, but the lady said she'd get it from her later..
While we waited, it was fun talking with Huong and Sam..Huong taught us some more Vietnamese and Sam told us about how she was a troublemaker in her town growing up..who da thunk? We all see her as innocent and a good student type of person lol..
We did get to see Act 2..even though the seats were unconfortable, the play made me want to join the drama club..I would love to do behind the scenes work!!
The psychic I went to back in 1999 was right - I'm always in the future..I'm hardly ever enjoying the present..
The same thing happened tonight..Halfway through Act 2 I had a..what would you call it...a "vision" (and ironically this is a deja vu moment, but yeah, at least this wasn't a dream)..a "vision" of what could be the near future and it was weird..it was like a backward deja vu moment!
But *sigh* I know it's just wishful thinking..there's a HUGE chance it won't happen..even though, everyday something else happens to lead there..
Like I said before, I need an anonymous blog somewhere to blog crazy crap in my head..like my analysis of people's motives and crap..
*sigh* ..maybe I'm just psycho..
