Matt's party was fun..
I drank too much..mostly 'cuz Nancy (his roommate) wasn't there until later and I had a "Matt Drink" which is a really potent screwdriver..I should have stopped there because I was sick later..luckily, I wasn't drunk enough to not remember last night..
It wasn't much of a crowd (mostly because of the cold rainy weather and a lot of people thought it was next week and a lot of people didn't want to be the only one not dressed up), but I got to talk to friends (outside a work environment) so it was fun! and that's all that matters..
I did my bird flu costume, Matt was a priest from the Church of Cain (I think), Dave was a skeleton dude (I couldn't recognise him until he talked), Jennifer was a girl from Star Wars, Bola was a rocker chick, Bett was a Dutch girl, Tim and Justin dressed in their military clothes, and Kyle came as a black guy (which means he came as himself and reffered to "his people")..
but the BEST costume would be Bill and Jason's costume..
They're known to be like, the bestest friends and do everything together..so it was great when they showed up dressed as siamese twins!!! They had a huge pair of pants with a hole in the middle and had their legs through it..they even danced like that! Later they changed clothes and were like, "We had surgery!"
I gave a couple of crappy tarot readings and we thought about playing Chess or Risk..
Gawd, like I've said before, all I need to do to lose 15-20 lbs. is stay a week at Matt's..I had to stay the night because I did not want to drive home drunk..All that alcohol and the water afterwards made me have to go up and down those stairs 4 times!..just to use the bathroom..twice in one hour once..that's a lot of excersize for me!
But the first time I went to his house, July/August ish, I had to use crutches and have 3 people help me..In August's party, I had a lot of trouble, but I did it without crutches..I only had to go up once in the September Party..and this time, I only needed help when I was drunk..after I sobered up, the stairs weren't that bad..so within two or so months, I've gone from using crutches and sweating perfusely by the time I got up the stairs, to not having too much trouble and my heart isn't even racing by the time I get up there..
It's weird, it's through his parties that I've learned how to become more independent..simple things for most people, but hard things for me..from getting better at taking stairs to being able to get up from the love seat without help..which is great because I hate asking for help..
Other than that..
What's with Mother Nature lately?
Is she retaliating lately against the human race or what? We've had a record amout of hurricanes and tropical storms..they're bigger than normal..and we still have a month left! Then there are the huge earthquakes everywhere..usual places getting snow or rain and flooding in the new england states..and now, the bird flu..
Was it the 9.0 earthquake last December that changed the shape of the earth cause all this? If so, what caused the earthquake?
I have a feeling tho that we shouldn't worry about the bird flu..like some bigger threat of a pandemic is on its way..
Hmm..I've been predicting for the last 5 years something big to happen around the end of 2006/beginning of 2007..of course it's always been a delusion I'd have when I was depressed..

I've been predicting for some time that we are on the verge of a global shift in conciousness. I've felt that we would have a lot of natural disasters that through the suffering caused by them, create a larger feeling of general compassion around the world. I think it will take a couple of years, but it has already begun. Different things are going to happen that will promote global peace. However, nothing will create TOTAL peace, but we'll get closer.
Just my weird ramblings...started before 9/11, so it's been going on for a long time...we'll have to see, either way, I guess.
