Blah..

Gah! I only have about 2 hours to write that Op/Ed article about how lately, everything has been getting in my way because I'm handicapped..

Like the In-Service setup (thank God it was a nice 70 degrees out at the time because I had to go around buildings to get where I needed to go) and why did they put carpet down on a Thursday and Friday, blocking any handicapped access to Rhodes Hall (a very important building) when they should have done it on Saturday and Sunday..and I was also told this quarter to "ease up" on reporting healthy people parking in handicapped spots..some park in the slashed out areas! I had someone towed for that in the Spring lol..and then, for some events, trucks and cars park in front of the street ramp (making anyone with a wheelchair or a walker have to walk backwards on a one-way street to another ramp)..and for "Taste the Future", I was blocked in on the one-way street and they told me to go backwards (illegal and dangerous) or wait 45 min...

Luckily, the Public Safety Department and Police Department ticket the ramp parking people and told the "Taste the Future" trucks to move..and recently, they told me to disreguard the cop's statement and to report any cars parked in violation..

Also, a lot of stuff can be done online..

Now, I just have to turn all that into a comprehensible article....by noon today :oP

15 Random Facts About Me:

So we went back to the childhood game of tag! Alright, I guess I can put together fifteen random facts about me...

1. I'll try anything once..if I like it, I'll try it again..hell, I might try it again, even if I don't like it..it worries me to think I might die of an unknown food allergy tho..

2. My skin is weird..I have a skin disorder that makes my skin really dry..the only thing that helps is this expensive facial scrub and this crap called Carmel 20 which actually makes my skin worse for a week before it gets better..I also have WAY too many moles..and I love the sun, so I seem to get more moles every year..I used to joke they were constellation maps because I have so many that form lines and shapes..I tan unevenly..I have Vitiligo (sp?) which means my pigment is slowly depleting and soon, I won't be able to tan..but my weird skin WILL allow me to make temporary designs by scratching the surface and henna tattoos stay for over a month!

3. I HATE talking on phones! It's all Email and AIM for me! If you get me actually on a phone for more than 1-2 min. concider yourself lucky or very important to me..

4. Like Sam, I have a problem with picking one guy and crushing on him for a long period of time. My problem is it takes me a while before I even like them..and then I become sorta obsessed and forget about why I didn't like them at first..

5. My personality has changed so much in the last 3 years that my "crushes" and guys I'm attracted to has changed..I used to like shy Aquarians (now, I think they are WAY too shy and it gets on my nerves) and now I tend to be more attracted to compasionate fire signs (outgoing wild guys who also are very loyal and kind to everyone)..

6. I used to be able to memorize hundreds of lines of Shakespeare..I haven't tried it in a while, so I'm not sure if I still can..

7. I'm called a "crazy note-taker" when I don't ever really take notes..the "crazy notes" which formed into production journals for Intermediate Video Production class were all in my head (overactive memory) until I wrote them the day before I thought they were due..

8. I have no real goal in life..I love school, so I always try to find the most challenging things to major in and continue to go..I love being a student ambassador, so that keeps me going to school, too..and because it's a challenge, I'm hoping to get into Phi Theta Kappa soon and become a five-star member..as for family life..I'm not even sure I wanna get married anymore..I mean, I would LOVE to, but I'm afraid I wouldn't be a good wife and/or the marriage would fail..but no matter what, I would love to have kids..

9. My future kids will be seriously corrupted..I'm very liberal when it comes to raising kids..I would first teach them to love learning (not teaching them things, because that will bore them when loving learning will make school always exciting) and how to play some music..when they are teenagers, I'd be like, you can smoke and do drugs, just not inside my house or car..and drink and have sex all ya want, just don't drive drunk and be sure to use a condom..I would hope they would learn from mistakes at a young age so when they move out, they would be smarter and more responsible..

10. I have a habit of taking on WAY too much..and then I always put friends and family (sometimes) first..sleep will always be last..

11. Like Sam, I love all music and can listen to anything..

12. I'm weird about personal space..I feel weird when most people sit close to me or touch me..but it's strange because it attracts me most when a guy sits next to me or touches me (shoulder rub, trying to annoy me by playing with my hair, taking my hand/arm, telling me a secret, etc.)..go figure..

13. I often see my life as some sort of movie script..mostly because my friends would make great characters and some of the stuff that happens only happens in movies..and some parts of it now seem like a soap opera..I also think my friends' quirks makes it more interesting..I just wish I knew what act we were in now so I know what to expect..

14. It drives me nuts when my friends try to set me up with guys I would have liked a year or two ago..so here is a quick synopsis of some of the qualities I'm attracted to NOW (this is long):

Singer Eyes, Dancer Body, Doctor Hands, Life-Saver Jaw, and Wrestler Arms
-) Singer Eyes are just really nice soft round eyes often found on guys who can sing or have great voices..
-) a Dancer Body is just a healthy body..fat guys can be healthy looking..I think what I like about the bodies of dancers (and HS/College wrestlers) is the overall semi-muscular look..I'm attracted to guys that you can actually tell they have arm muscles and have a nice shape to their back..I don't like tall and skinny guys much and I really don't like those guys who have WAY too many muscles..I like strong looking guys with at least a small layer of fat to prevent protruding veins..
-) Doctor Hands are usually found on caring guys who would risk their life to help people..they are nice big soft hands..
-) a Life-Saver Jaw are squarish jaws usually found on firefighters, miliatry guys, some cops, and paramedics..Those guys are HOT..lol..
-) Wrestler Arms go with the Dancer Body where their arms show some muscle and strength, but it's not like icky bodybuilding type and not too skinny..

Height and Weight
I seem to like guys ranging from 5'6" to 5'10", most of the guys I've liked over the last 5-7 years have been around 5'8"..
Weight wise, it doesn't matter, as long as they are healthy, but I prefer medium to slightly bigger than medium build instead skinny guys..

Personality
I used to like the shy, quiet, smart guys..now I like outgoing, almost fearless, can be wild, partier-type, but at the same time, are loyal to friends and family, responsible for the most part, intellegent in more than just facts, quick-witted, creative, can juggle life, work, school, etc. pretty well, knowhow to relax, and are great friends..sounds contridictory, but I like that in a guy! And of course, they have to be able to put up with my personality and (like my theory suggests) know how to manipulate me in a possitive way..

The bad thing is, I kinda think this kind is hard to find a guy that fits all of this..I've only known about five guys that do over my life time..but I'm not as picky as I sound, I'll give almost anyone a chance..

15. I'm procrastinatious (yes, that word doesn't exsist)..tell me it's due 30 min. before it actually is!
