Wee! This is my short break after a week of working on the Ohio Literacy Network site (it's not up, yet) and before I write my final report..I have to present my final on Monday at 8:30 in the morning..8:30 is TOO EARLY!!! Oh, well..I'll have time to update the site here after Tuesday..
After Tuesday, I'll update all the sites, back up my blog files on HopeMoore.com and put all the files there, too..I'll add some new pages I've been wanting to add..even a "photo album" of friends..
I just got done seeing the "Left Behind" movie..it was pretty good! But I kept talking throughout the thing saying why certain people were left behind and crap..some things I thought throughout the movie:
If they had a formula that could grow wheat or whatever in the desert, couldn't that destroy our world's climate? I mean, the desert is there for a reason!
When that main reporter dude was dicovering that it was all true about God and crap, I think he shouldn't have been just in the bathroom, he should have been GOING at the time..like that Scrubs episode where people kept having revelations on the toilet?
The Anti-Christ dude had the power of hypnosis where he just moved his hand and the whole room got like, hypnotized, right? I TOTALLY had that in a movie scenario! The exboyfriend of the main character, "Mark" (who is also a "star" meaning he was part alien) had that power..basically the "stars" who were the main character, Mark, and Sam all had psychic powers and each had one that they were high in..the main character had telekinesis, precognition, and could distort time and space (project); Mark had hypnotism, precognition, and could see auras; and Sam had hypnotism (to where he can make himself look like anybody or thing), healing, and could force people to feel certain emotions when he touches them..later in the movie, they end up teaching each other the different powers, so they all knew how to use them..they all had good and bad points..like not being believed when they saw something, the use of hypnotism could be used for selfish or selfless reasons and the kind Sam had could destroy the person's sense of self or help in undercover operations to catch a bad guy, and the way the healing is done, is uncomfortable and drains the healer and plus, if you can heal, you can kill..and when the characters would "snap" or have a psychotic break, their powers would intensify by a hundred fold and they wouldn't be able to control it..the main character has a "carrie"-type incident and Mark ends up hypnotizing everyone in the room or so so that their since of time is distorted and crap..it's weird..but there is a superhero type plot in the whole thing..
Ok..what was I originally talking about?
Oh, yeah, another thing..*sigh* about this whole "world peace" thing..I don't see that ever happening..maybe "peace" as in no bloody horrible wars, yes, but there will always be conflict..I'd hate to live in a world without it..especially when we are living on an everchanging living planet..stasis is death..conflict is the child of change..once something changes, the people in favor of the change get in a conflict with those who don't want change..we'd be more peaceful if we would embrace change and go with the flow, but if no one talked out against change, we'd be one-sided which isn't good either..conflict that is settled by compromise is the best way for our world to survive without us becoming blissfully ignorant..
I wrote about this once in 12th grade..ironically the date I wrote it on was September 11th, 2001..
oh, BTW, I joked around saying that it was probably us attacking Israel probably to help end conflict..'cuz *looks around* isn't that what we are sorta doing in Afganistan and Iraq? Causing war in order to create peace?

Ok, I'm gonna blog about my day yesterday..with snapshots!.."Snapshots" meaning photos with no real thought put in them lol..I broke it up into categories in case people don't wanna read the whole thing..
What I Did Yesterday:
The Plan
When I was out with Angie and her friend Kristina a week ago, I was telling Ange about Arron Kinser from school going to California and being in movies and cammercials and stuff and Ange said, "That name sounds familiar" and I was like, "I'll show you his web site so you can see what he looks like!"
Well, we got home and I showed her on my laptop and I read that he was having a dinner party at The Spaghetti Warehouse..I thought it was one out in California, but I clicked on the directions and it was the one here in Columbus, Ohio! I was like "We drove by there twice and talked about how it has great food! It would be fun to go"..I thought it wasn't even a possibility..
I wrote about it in a blog post about how it would be fun to show up with friends and be like, "We didn't know that YOU would be here! What a coincidence!" and Kitty said she'd like to go, so we started planning to go..I wanted to take Karen because her birthday is coming up and Angie was hoping to come back over here from New Jersey to drop off Heather and she and Jamie could have gone (but her boss took her jeep away :o( )..My mom said she and dad would go, but dad had other stuff he needed to do..but Kitty was like, "What time do we need to be there?"..I looked and they didn't have the time down on the site! I was like, "WHAAAAAAAT!!!! NOOOOOOOOO!" and mom said, "Why don't you call the Spaghetti Warehouse and say you were invited, but forgot the time or something." and I was like, "What if they have caller ID???" and Kitty said to use an anomynous payphone and say "Spaghetti Warehouse? Yes, this is Arron's stalker-er-FRIEND, yeah, friend..What time are we stalking Saturday?" lol I was like "I can use a pay phone on Wednesday at school!"..and I was getting delusional from my flu and came up with this weird idea "Hey Candy!" "You mean like M&Ms?"..yeah, it was weird, but when Wednesday came around, my voice was still not sounding right..and couldn't talk very well from the flu..
I told Kitty I thought it was suspicious that they posted that he was gonna have a dinner party on his site and she said, "Why don't you email him? Ask if you're invited!" and I was like, "No, it's more fun this way!"
The Play
On Thursday, I got an email in my student account at Columbus State and it said that the Drama Club was putting on "A Midsummer Night's Dream" this weekend..That's one of my favorite Shakespeare plays! I knew Kitty liked Shakespeare, but wasn't sure about Karen..I later found out that Karen didn't like plays, but she did laugh during certain parts..
It was a neat play! They took the serious parts out tho (like Hermia, Demetrius, Helena, and Lysander)..but it was neat 'cuz the main characters were dressed in splatter-painted overalls:
I really liked Oberon's cape and Titania's outfit (it was fleshcolored, so se looked nude except for the skirt..it looked neat!)..My favorite actors were Theseus and the Sound Guy..The Sound Guy did a good job on the sounds and interacted with the people on stage..like when the fairies were making the players move all weird like, one guy pointed at the sound guy like "Did you do that?" and the Sound Guy gestured "It wasn't me, dude!"..it's like in movies where they're like, "Where's that music coming from?" lol..there was also a time when the fairies were rolling on to stage and Kitty was like, "I wanna roll!!"..
It was funny! Especially the end when a guy had to dress like a girl and the guy serving Theseus and Hippolyta kept blowing kisses at him and chasing him around and the crossdressed dude kept fighting him off and said "Don't touch me!" and a guy had to play moonlight or "Mooshine" and he had a lantern, dog, and bush..his dog was a Scooby Doo toy..and just before Pyramis killed himself, Moonshine got of his platform and moved overabout a foot and stood at the end of the platform as if he thought Pyramis would fall on him and Pyrimis ended up falling on his sword and he kept saying "I DIE! I DIE! I DIE!" and Thisbe (the crossdressed dude) was supposed to kill herself and couldn't find the sword and had to lift up Pyramis' limbs and Pyramis had to stop faking he was dead to roll off of the sword and then he laid back and said, "I DIE" lol they did a good job making it look like they couldn't put on the play inside the play very well..

After the play, I showed Kitty and Karen to see the stone that talks about how part of the college was built on an old Catholic Cemetary..Karen was like, "So?" and Kitty was like, "Holy Crap!" She originally said about the Christopher Columbus "Doesn't he know it's not polite to point?" and now she said, "It's the voodoo zombie!" and we walked toward the car and I found a dead bird and was like, "Isn't that a bad omen?" and Kitty put her fingers in a cross and said, "See??? Voodoo!!"
The Store
No we didn't go in to Big Bob's Carpet, we just thought it was funney that it sounds like they only have one carpet..so I took a picture..we went to Big Lots and Kitty kept putting stuff on her head like Christmas decorations..I dared her to ride a kiddie toy and she did! It was funny! We went around looking for noise-makers and we found a cow toy that goes "MOOOO...MOOOO...MOOOOOOAHHAHAHAHAHAHA Oh, no, HAHAHAHAHA" and we went over to the hardware department and Kitty became the Queen of the department and Karen and her stared in amazement at the toolboxes and Kitty was like "ART SUPLIES!" and Karen goes, "Art supplies? No, this would make an awesome tackle box!!!" lol We then went to worship the chocolate goods in the junk food aisle!
Saw Arron Again
We went to Spaghetti Warehouse around 6:30 p.m. because Kitty said that Kiersten said that Heather said the dinner party was at 7pm..
I was like "Act natural" and Kitty is like, "That's impossible for me!" so I said "So act Un-natural"..
We went in to get a reservation and we were all by the arcade area and my mom was going to go to the bathroom, but didn't see the line of 4 or 5 people..when she finally got in line, she said to Keren, "Go ask and see if the Kinser party is here, yet.." and Karen makes a face like, "I don't wanna get into all this mess" and I keep saying (loudly) "WE ARE SUPPOSED TO ACT LIKE WE DON'T KNOW HE'S GONNA BE HERE!!" and my mom said later that a guy in the line looked at her weird and I saw a blond haired lady in line and thought, "Could that be his mom???" I also told the others that I thought it was his mom even though I've never seen her before..it was getting to be 6:55 p.m. and we decided to wait outside (supposedly for the table, but really to see him pull up) and then we see Lillie from Drama Club and Choir walks up and we say "Hi" and I was like, "We didn't know that YOU were going to be here!" And she was like "I don't even know why I'm here..Charlee called me and said, 'You know what you're doing Saturday night? You are going to Spaghetti Warehouse with us!'" and Kitty began to tell her and I'm like "SHH! We are supposed to ack like we don't know!" and Lillie's like, "What?" and Karen's like, "I don't know" and I'm like "Great job people!!"..Kitty tells her anyway and Lillie goes and calls Peyton from Drama Club..
while this was going on, my mom ended up asking if they came yet or not and tried to explain I'm his friend and they suggested I go up the stairs with my crutches and say "Hi" to him and they would see the trouble I go through going up the stairs, that they wouldn't make me go back down for a while..
My mom told us what she did and we went in and I kept saying, "We were supposed to ack like we didn't know!" and Kitty's like "It doesn't seem like a coincidence when 20 people from Drama Club show up at once." We walk in and this one girl who works there pointed to our right and said "there he is!"..and Arron was like "Hey, Hope! How ya doin'!" and I was "We didn't know that YOU would be here!" and we all started laughing and Kitty's like "She LIES! She LIES!" and Keren and Mom roll their eyes..we finally told him that we saw it on the web site and he invited us up!! He looks really different from what he looked like in high school..I like his hair and mom says it's too long..I'm like whatever! I think it looks cool..
It was up a flight of stair..everyone including Arron helped me up the stairs..Kitty and Keren kept saying that if I fall, it would be ok because it would be funny and they can take pictures of me falling and Arron helping me back up..they made me laugh and I almost tripped head first into the steps..luckily I caught myself..
he said we could have a table in the back and we sat down to eat..
When we got the menu, I joked saying "Eating's the last thing I was thinking of when we came here!" Arron talked to us for a while (He's so nice :o) ) He let me take some pictures of him:
He doesn't look like what he looks like in person..I know only a few people know what the heck I mean, but really..he's good at projecting his soul, but it of course doesn't translate to images..I have that problem, too..Kitty's also said something about how when she sees herself on video or pictures, she doesn't picture herself like that and I don't think she look like her soul either..lol..being able to see people's "souls" or how they picture themselves really throughs me off when it comes to me describing people..if I was ever robbed, I'd suck at explaining wht they look like because I don't see phyisical traits like hair and eye color..
Well, back to the story..he spent most of the night going from table to table talking to friends and family..I thought that was cool..he seemed concerned more about talking to people and catching up with them than eating and stuff..They wanted a picture of Arron and I together and I'm like "No! I don't like being in photos!" Maybe when I reach my goal weight, you'll see me in photos again, but not until then..
Well, he told us how he got to take a tour of the Pentagon and he was only in town for a day and a half..he also told us how "The Princess Diaries 2" ends (with Karen plugging her ears and humming) and how nice Julie Andrews in person..
While we waited for our food, Kitty brought out a "game pen" from Walmart..it was Connect 4!
She later put a red piece on her third eye and said, "It's in my religion"..
When we got our salads, for a short time we chanted "Make love, not salad!" (Our Meatie slogan for the PETPV or the People for the Ethical Treatment of Plants and Veggies)..then we ate our salad..
When we got our meal, Kitty and Karen's came with mini italian flags in it and Kitty put them in her hair:
She kept them in for the rest of the night..Arron gave us some photos of him and I got a picture of him and Jessie Barber, the first web designer I've met outside my circle of friends..

All through the dinner I kept saying I wanted an animal balloon..so we went over there and asked the Balloon Guy if we could have a balloon cuz all these people have towering balloon hats..he came over to our table..
Kitty suggested saying it was my birthday and I was like, Karen should sy it's hers cuz it's comming up soon.."Plus, I don't like to lie"..and Kitty's eyes grew big and said, "Miss I-didn't-know-that-YOU-were-gonna-be-here doesn't like to lie?" and we all started laughing and she said, "You're lying when you say you don't like to lie!"..So I agreed to say it was my birthday and I'll give the cake to Karen for hers..
We told Arron ahead of the time that my birthday was in June not that day..everyone we told thought it was a cool idea!
So they sang me Happy Birthday and gave me a cake and I stood up and all...and got cake on my hand lol!
Then I asked the Balloon Guy, "Hey, dude, can you make a snail?" and he looked at me weird and said, "What did you call me?" He told someone else that he's never been called "Dude" before..so I said, "Would you prefer "Guy" instead?" and he looked like he didn't get it..Well, he asked what color I'd like my snail and Kitty suggested green, so I got a lime green balloon in a shape of an evil daemon snail!
We named it "Larry" after a Spongebob Squarepants character..Kitty got a purple cat that we all called "Petunia"..
I asked the Balloon Dude/Guy what his real name was and it was Matt..he looked and acted like a Matt..here's a picture:
He said he didn't want just a picture of him looking dumb so he agreed to a picture only if there was another kid in it with him..

Before we left, Arron came over and gave us autographs..on mine he wrote "Peace & Love" and on my mom's "Keep it Real"..his pen started to lose ink on Karen's and it messed it up, so he crossed in out and got another photo out, but Kitty yelled, "It's a reject photo! It'll be worth a lot of money on Ebay!" so I grabbed it and he signed it, and wrote the date, and "sorry!" on it:
He wrote the date on mine, too..but it was so cute when he blushed when Kit and Karen were getting excited over the "reject photo"..
Just befor we left the area, his mom (OMG it was the blond lady in line for the restroom) asked if I could get some pictures of her and her sons so I did:

Michelle and Tia came over and said Happy Birthday and we told them it was in June and they have nice jobs nearby here and stuff so that's cool!
Before we left he hugged me good bye and we wished him a safe flight back to California..
Walmart
After leaving around 9pm or so, we went to Walmart and we had fun there and stuff raiding the clearence racks lol..
When we dropped everyone off, I kept saying "Don't let Satan get your goat!" and Kitty replied, "Don't worry! I tie it in a different place each night!" lol
So all in all that day ROCKED!!

I was feeling SO much better Monday night! What happened???? I woke up on Tuesday with a fever and I couldn't breathe through my nose! I slep most of the day on Tuesday and Wednesday..I went to Math class because we had a quiz..I guess I almost have a perfect in that class..If only I could write better..then maybe I'd have something higher than a C or B average this quarter..*SNEEZE*I hate writing..they said that good writing skills are needed in any field..I just didn't realize I'd have to write essays every week (I spend 2-5 friggin' hours writing them) for a web design gig..If I knew that, I just would live off my social security..and do web design without a degree..
I thought this was weird: on Tuesday, I couldn't breathe through my nose, but then when I got on my crutches and put pressure on my underarms, my nose almost totally cleared up! Then it got stuffed up again when I didn't have the crutches..
I have to do my final presentation on Monday, August 30th at 8:30AM (I think..I have to look at it again, it might be 8:15)..meaning I gotta leave the house at around 7AM meaning I gotta get up at 4 or 5 to practice and get ready and to wake up..I'm barely passing my internship because I can't write and kept emailing my reports the day after I wrote them (I wrote them on the day they were due because that's also when I do a lot of my work)..It be nice it Jon was grading them..at least he's happy to just see them turned in..he'd take points off, yeah, but he wouldn't get mad at how they are late..I think that's the biggest reason I liked his class..it never made you feel bad when it came to late work, but he was like Simon Cowell during presentations..which just made me work harder..
First of all, there's nothing wrong with a vegeterian diet or being Vegan, just as long as they don't push their strict views on me..
After PETA's last effort to make people become Vegans (using Ronald Regan to tell people that meat doubles the risk of Alheimer's(sp?))..I wanna make an activist page about either not eating or just eating meat because animals can at least fight back, but plants can't..THOSE POOR LIVING HARMLESS PLANTS!!! I need a name for it..and it could be as extreme as Vegans and say, no plant products and don't walk on the grass, don't wear cotton, heck, don't wear anything! Even rubber comes from rubber plants! Don't use cars or anything with tires..etc..synthetic stuff only! lol..
But back to this Alzheimer's Disease thing, it says on the site:

Instead of embracing this lifesaving effort, the office instead insisted that we “cease and desist.” Because President Reagan is a public figure and because this ad doesn’t sell a product but instead promotes a Web page with the latest research about Alzheimer’s, PETA has the legal right to run the ad. But should we?
"Latest research"?????? The link goes to a Vegan site..Truely scientific information should be unbiased!!!! The site is WAY one-sided and they use statistics to make it sound like meat is the Devil..and that meat kills! I could easilly use statistics to make a Vegan diet kill you..I bet I could make a vegitarian diet sound like it causes the disease..they say, "In fact, Alzheimer’s disease rates have been shown to be 70 percent lower in people following a diet rich in whole grains and low in animal fats compared to a traditional American diet."
You know why? Cuz there are LESS people that are vegaterians than meat eaters..so the number of people dying from the disease (which they could call "rates") will be higher among meat eaters..I bet that it's equal on perportion of how many meat eaters to vegetarians there are..or heck, the Vegan's Alzheimer's victims tally could be a higher percentage, yet, they can report just the numbers and the meat eater's numbers will still be higher..
What I can't understand is why they claim that meat is the problem, but also say:
The scariest thing about this disease is that it seems to be brand new! There is absolutely no mention of anything that could be considered Alzheimer’s disease in any medical, religious, or secular literature before the turn of the last century. That means that in the last 100 years, Alzheimer’s disease has gone from non-existence to a disease that kills nearly 54,000 people every year in the United States alone and affects millions more.
So.........did we just start eating meat? I thought the cavemen did..I thought people in "biblical" times did..I thought the earliest farmers did..I thought turkey was eaten for the first Thanksgiving (I could be wrong!)..Native Americans hunted a lot..Eskimos eat lots of fish........are the rates higher among those two groups? What about the BILLIONS of people who still eat meat and have been eating meat for their whole lives? Shouldn't we all be experiencing memory loss, dementia-like symtoms, etc.? I eat LOTS of meat and dairy and hardly any vegetables and my memory impresses people..or at least used to..I recently started eating salads every other day and my memory has actually gotten WORSE! So hmm..
The site says, "Could it be linked to the exponential rise in meat consumption..." um.. has the rise in meat consumption grown exponentially because the population itself grows fast and the ability to get food (mostly meat) has gotten easier and animal populations could be going as well?

The graphs suck! it's like they said "the graphs from 1980's meat production and the Alzheimer's rates from 2000 look similar, let's use those!" The graphs should at least be within a 5 year time period or the findings be consistent over a certain amount of years! According to the graphs, why doesn't Nigeria have more Alzheimer's? And shouldn't Canada, too? What's wrong with Japan having so many cases of Alzheimer's and such a low meat production?
Another thing about the one-sidedness..I found out about this on Fox News where they said, "They're having a poll on their site to whether visitors feel they should be able to run the ad or not despite the disproval of Mrs. Reagan..."..I went there to vote "no" on it cuz I think they should get approval first and Reagan's dead and can't tell them not to run it..I get there and the question makes you feel guilty if you say "no"..Grr..it's like going to an extreme Christian site and they ask "Are you a Christian?" and rather than asking for an honest response of "yes" or "no", you get "Yes - I am a true Christian, I believe in the literal translation of the King James Version of the Bible, I attend Church regularly, and I live my life as close as Christ's as possible and will go to Heaven with my Christian bothers and sisters." and "No - I am not Christian, I hurt people, follow false Gods and religions, live in sin, and will someday soon be sent to the fiery depths of Hell to rot for all of eternity if I do not get saved"..HELLO? Who in their right mind gonna answer "no"? I did..most people probably will feel guilty and pick "yes"..

I was reading last Saturday's Dispatch and read a short article about a locust swarm in Africa..then I thought about how weird/interesting it is that stuff in mythology or religion can be also seen in nowaday's news..Even though they've scientifically explained the "original" such as the 10 plagues, here's my weird thoughts on the subject:
1st Plague: Nile turns red
"...the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood." - Ex. 7:17
So basically, using my weird symbology and theories and interpretations, this could have been el Nino..Remember those infared radar shots of the ocean in 1997 that looked like the ocean turning red, a.k.a. the color of blood?
2nd Plague: Frogs
"...I will smite all thy borders with frogs" - Ex. 8:2
There recently was a "plague" of frogs in the Hamptons I guess..
3rd Plague: Lice
"...that it may become lice throughout all the land..." - Ex. 8:16
Yeah, uh, haven't found anything yet about this in the recent years..could it be coming?
4th Plague: Flies
"I will send swarms of flies upon thee..." - Ex. 8:21
There was a black fly infestation in Texas back in 2002..
5th Plague: Cattle/Hoofed animal disease
"...thy cattle which is in the field...there shall be a very grievous murrain." - Ex. 9:3
Ever heard of Mad Cow or Hoof-and-Mouth Disease??? They have gotten more attention within the last 4 years..
"...and all the cattle of Egypt died: but of the cattle of the children of Israel died not one." - Ex. 9:6
Hmm..I know the big worry was about how European countries were having a huge problem with it, but what happened with US cows?
6th Plague: Boils
"And it shall become small dust in all the land of Egypt, and shall be a boil breaking forth with blains upon man..."- Ex. 9:9
The "original" plague was explained as Anthrax..and didn't we have Anthrax scares recently in the last few years? Since it is spread by "spores"..could this "small dust" be what was thought to be found in the envelopes? Of, course it was more about the scare than a medium to widespread problem..lets just hope it isn't, you know, used as a terror weapon..like being poured out of a plane over a city..that would suck..big time..
7th Plague: Hail
"...the hail shall come down upon them..." - Ex. 9:19
When I think of hail, I associate it with tornadoes..
Because of La Nina, there was a LARGE amout of tornadoes in 1999..and recently, we've been having some wacky weather that has been causing more hail and tornadoes..
8th Plague: Locusts
"I bring the locusts into thy coast" - Ex. 10:4
Again, I just read about swarms of locusts in Africa..also, this year was the year the secadas came out..
9th Plague: Darkness
"...that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt..." - Ex. 10:21
I almost said it hasn't happened, yet, but then I remembered the New York blackout that happened last summer..
10th Plague: Death of first born
"And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die..." - Ex. 11:5
Could this be the war or an upcoming war? or some disease that affects older people (first borns) and leaves the younger generation healthy?
"...they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses..." Ex. 12:7
I don't know why, but the first thing I thought of when I think of this is those reporters in Iraq that I heard write "MEDIA" on their helmets or clothes so the enemy won't shoot them..

It sucks to see so much devistation(sp?)! My step-grandmother lives in North Fort Myers..we can't get ahold of her at the moment..my mom called her step brother to get her number or to see how she's doing, but he hasn't called back, yet..at least Tay survived!

Angie and her friend Kristina came over on Friday and we went shopping yesterday..first, we went to the Santa Maria..I've only been there twice, once with my aunt and once for school and both times I was in a wheelchair..This time, I was on crutches, so I had no trouble going down to see it, the only problem was that it was closed, so we couldn't go on the boat, but the scenery was PRETTY! I'm so goin' back when I get my temps so I can go take pictures! They also had a fountain there with these glass walls and a flame that burns in honor of some dead firemen (gawd, don't I sound nice?)! It was neat! I also want a photo of the "Road construction" sign with downtown Columbus in the back..I know, I'm weird..
We then went looking for the Ohio State Fair (my memories of that is almost being flung out of my seat with my dad in the Octopus ride back when I was 8 or 12 or something..I'm sorry, but Wyandot is at least safer!)..We got lost because the lady giving us directions said that you go up High St. and the fair is somewhere between 11th and 17th streets..yeah, we went too far and Ange had to ask for more directions..all the time we were driving during the daytime, she would honk and wave at people on the sidewalk or driving next to us..It was cool! I've gotta start doing that! Then maybe I'd be a little more approchable..and plus, it's fun to see how people react and I love getting in conversations or talking with total strangers..people (especially in downtown Cols) seem so nice! We went to the fair and somehow found a place to park about 1/2 block away..parking was 6 bucks, but the guys running the parking area were nice and showed us where to park and offered to get us a closer spot when they heard I had crutches and Ange had them, too, cuz she has a huge cut on her foot..We walked all the way to the gate, found out is was $8 per person and decided to just go to the mall..
They kept saying they wanted to go to "Westland" so I said, I know where that is, but got it mixed up with "Great Western" and I was like, "Well, this is the West side, it has to be around here somewhere!" So Ange asked for directions and we went to Westland just to find out where they really wanted to go was EASTland..I said I didn't remember how to get there..but I knew where City Center was since my friends go there all the time..well, we drive all the way back into downtown..finally find a place to park..and then we get in there at 10 'till 8pm and EVERY STORE WAS CLOSED!! When Connie and I went up last April, we left at 8pm and it was booming! We talked to a stranger and she says that now they close at 7pm because they don't get enough traffic..I'm sorry, but I think it'd open it later and close it later because a lot of people want to go to a mall on Saturday night..they're losing business closing at 7!
So we finally decided to go to Great Southern, just in time to go to Fahsion Bug..Ange got this cute tank top, I got this black (I got so many black clothes) seethrough thing to put over my shirts for the fall..we left and Kris ran over to A.J. Wright's but they locked it up right when she got there..
We ate at Arby's (I swear, they need to name #2 to "Beef and Cheese, and Sauce)..but it was funny, she telling her friend that they came out to Ohio from New Jersey just to see the cows..I was like, "No, just to tip them.." You know what? I've never tipped a cow..Kris said that she was used to our accent because her relative is from Kentucky..I talk more southern than some people around here..most people in Cols don't say "Y'all"..I just used grammer bad again..I just asked, "What he's been on??"..I'll also say "Who's he been on?" (meaning "Who's he?" and "What has he been on?")..
We went to Walmart, where Ange and I used the manual wheelchairs and Kris put the crutches in a cart..Ange was using her arms and I was using my legs and all of a sudden, she said, "Switch!" ..so I switched chairs and then I knew why..hers wouldn't go straight, it kept vering off to the left..so on the way to the Jeep, I just rode down the parking lot and was like, "I'm going to the green, no red car, and now the silver car, black?" because I started to spin a little..it was fun! We bumped into Connie and David at Wally World (a.k.a. Walmart) and Connie helped Ange find a dolphin figurine for her mom..Connie had such a funny look on her face when Ange asked if she likes dolphins..I ended up getting some key chains..
They came over today and showed me some photos Ange had..her boyfriend is cute! He's 18, but Ange makes it sond like he's WAY younger than her..she's only 20! Her and her friend Jamie from a long time ago that I went to school with (you know, the nice crazy smart dude?) got a picture together while they were here..Even tho everyone else says he looks totally different now, I don't think so..the glasses make change his face a little, but he still looks the same..

I was telling Ange about how my friend got SO excited when Arron Kinser ate lunch with us one time in high school..he's so nice..I haven't talked to him since January or so and haven't seen him for over 2 years..the site says he's having a "dinner party" at Spaghetti (sp?) Warehouse..*twitch*..we drove by there twice yesterday so I know where it is..*twitch*..so my friends could maybe go up there next Saturday or something..*twitch*..I'd be like, "Yeah, we were wantin' some expensive noodles..so, yeah, here we are..............oh, the camera? I'm doing a personal photography project, um, can I take a photo of y'alls?"..I'm weird..but it would be a good excuse to see an old friend without crashing his dinner party..
Upcoming Graduation
I was just talking to January (from OLN) about how no one has contacted me about getting a robe for graduation..WELL, I get home and the letter about it came in the mail!! Appearently, the robes are rented or free or something and my final grades are due by the 3rd of September and my graduation is a week later..
Um..yeah, the final grade date is a problem..My internship needs to be 10 weeks long..my problem is that Summer Quarter is 10 weeks long and I need to get out one week earlier for graduation..My 10th week begins on the 31st and I need to do a presentation by the 2nd probably..I just hope they don't deny me my degree until December just because I haven't finished out the last week because I decided to take it Summer Quarter..
I'm not graduating with honors..I might have had a chance if I was graded on effort and work rather than how well I WRITE!! GRR..I CAN'T WRIIIIIIIIIIITE!! I could have been on the dean's list this quarter, but NO! I take an internship where I'm graded on these stupid "Reports" I have to write every week..It wasn't until the 3rd or 4th one that they say it had to be in "Essay" form and the 1st one was "too conversational" (My client didn't care 'cuz that's how we talk in person) and had bad grammer and the 2nd-4th one wasn't detailed enough..so far, I have four 7/10s! There's no way to get a 3.5 GPA this quarter! Even with a high A in Algebra! GRR..When am I EVER gonna write essays for my freelance multimedia design and photography job???????? NEVER!!! SO WHY GRADE ME ON ESSAY WRITNG?????????
My cap and gown will be black with a blue and white tassel..after the comencement, I'll be going to an OLN Convention or whatever it's called and take pictures in case they want them on their site..

My mom just brought up crap my dad threw down stairs..I've been looking for this stuff for 2-3 years..their excuse is "You must have not have needed it..why don't you throw it away?"..Sorry, but even if I needed it, it's like "Well, it's your (me) fault that it's missing! It's probably in your messy room somewhere! We should go through and give your stuff away and throw a lot of things out.."..Um..I pay $200 rent so people can throw or give my stuff away?? Whatever!!
In the bag was old drawings from June 2001, photos of crossdress day senior year (October 2001) (*sigh*Charlie.................with a dress on, tho), and last day for the class of 2001 (May 2001), 2 Kodak one time use cameras (one was suppoed to be developed by April 2002 and the other by July 2003), my Harry Potter book, and my Rider Waite tarot cards..
Rider Waite kinda sucks..I can't read them pretty much at all..The Mythic Tarot I can read fine..I was just going through the Mythic ones and I'm still going to read the book and get more ideas, but it's weird..I noticed that my symbology has changed..I hope it's a good thing..I try to interpret some people's dreams and even tho I think I sound crazy, people say they think I make sense..

I went to Geico.com to see the Gecko dance the robot, but I found a 17 minute video about teen driver's safety..
GRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
They're like "Teen drivers get in more accidents than middle aged people and among those, 16 year olds have more accidents per mile.." WELL DUH ..Um..hmm..who is more likely to crash? The person who has been driving for 1 week or the person who has been driving for 20-25 years? Hmm..they blame the fact that there are other teens in the car and teens are immature..NO, it's because they're new at driving..some people want the driving age to be 18..then you'll see that 18 year olds will have even more accidents per mile than the 16 year olds were..mostly because at 16, not everyone drives because not everyone needs a car..more people need them when they're 18..also, my friend will be still 17 when she goes to a college across the state..hmm..that's either a long commute for the parents or they'd have to all move..well, the driving age is still 15 1/2 (for temps) and 16 (for license), but they want a "graduated" driver's license where there's a period of time where the teen can't drive with other teens in the car..so if the teen wants to drive off a cliff, there's none of his/her friends to say "WHAT??? YOU'RE GONNA KILL US! DON'T EVEN JOKE LIKE THAT!!!"..one part of the video is about this lady's daughter who was driving with her friend..I think they died (I can't hear the video very well, since my mom is watching ER with the volume full blast..ironically about a car accident) and the mom says, "I think her friend said, 'Let's try to pass her!' and she was killed when she tried.." or something like that..Um..WERE YOU IN THE CAR WITH THEM?? I think the daughter was like "WTF? I'm gonna pass you!" and her friend would be like, "Are you kidding me? Slow down! It's nighttime and you can't see! you're making me nervous!" She tries to pass, the other car (with her friend, the teen, driving ALONE) speeds up, and for a split second, rays from headlights are seen in the dewy night and a car almost hits the daughter's car as she violently swerves back into the lane when the lights stream pass her..her friend is screaming now, "WTF ARE YOU DOING???? YOU COULD HAVE KILLED US!! STOP!! IT ISN'T WORTH IT!!"..but she doesn't listen! It's like her friend isn't even in the car! and she tries to pass anyway and because of her INEXPERIENCE, she tries to pass on a double line while going up a steep hill on a curve and they crash!
Hmm..also, say I'm 16 (I'm really 20)..I can't drive with my date who is 16 1/2, so I drive with my college friends to show off my new freedom and my new ride..we go to a bar, I can't drink..not only because of age, but because SOMEONE has to be a designated driver..so they're all WAY drunk and on the way home, they do something to cause me to get in an accident (such as getting my attention away from the road at night or getting goofy and grab the wheel or something..)..well, I'd just be a statistic about another 16-year-old, immature driver..and it doesn't have to be college friends..I've heard of middle-aged parents and relatives causing accidents this way..BUT NO!! Let's get the teenagers, who aren't drunk, out of the car..*sarcasm* WHATEVER!!!
Sorry, but that was my rant..leave the teens in the cars! .. or stop complaining about pollution from the 7 SUVs going to the mall, instead of one carrying 7 teens! "Why can't you go to the mall/concert/etc?" "My mom won't take me and my friends can't legally drive with me in the car.."
Does this apply to just teens or everyone getting their licenses? Darn! I wouldn't be able to drive Kitty around until November (unless 20 is the cut off and that would mean 2 years)! I wouldn't be able to drive her and her brother (in case she had to babysit or something)..cuz her brother I think is 13 or 14..he's autistic, I doubt he'll say, "Go speed and pass that car when going up a steep hill and around a curve!"..If he did, I'd be like getting in a reck because Id be distracted by the fact that I'd be happy that he's gotten so much better! or um..Crap..I don't have that young of friends lol..most are now 18+ .. I feel old :o(

Last Friday, 36 dolphins beached themselves in southeast Florida..my prediction is that there will be an earthquake somewhere around Nashville to south of Atlanta within the next 2 weeks..
I accurately predicted 2 eastern/southern midwest earthquakes last year! So let's see if this comes true..
I've read somewhere that dolphins and whales follow sounds made by the earth to navigate their ways through the water and that beachings may be caused by an impending earthquake that makes a sound so loud, that it confuses and attracts the animals toward it..
It weird to see what articles say about the beaching:

Why do my eyes get less near-sighted when and after I exercise a lot? These glasses are making my head hurt cuz now they're too strong..
Other than that, I've had dreams about "Charile" for the last 3 nights..I don't know what that means..usually a "Charlie" dream means a bad day afterward, but my days have been good..
Speaking of "Charlie", I thought I started liking him at the end of 10th Grade..I must be wrong because I'm going through old papers and found a "story" based on stuff happening and I liked "Charlie" and "Mark" in it and found out that it was written at the beginning of 10th, which means I must have liked him by the end of 9th..why did it take so long for me to like him? I mean, I've known him for 13 years..hmm..I haven't talked to him since May 2002, tho..lol..I'm still waiting to see if anyone ever figures out who "Charlie" is..

I've read Farenheit 451, part of Dandelion Wine, and I'm almost done with Something Wicked This Way Comes..I LOVE RAY BRADBURY BOOKS! I like the writing style and the philisophical feel and the imagery is awesome! I wanna read F 541 again..I only read part of DW because I checked it out from the library and the way I read books is that I read half of it and get into something else and read the first half again and get into something else..heck, I've read the first half of Orwell's 1984 3 times! I liked it, too..I don't know why I don't finish it..I've read half of Stephen King's The Stand 3 times, too! I usually stop because the movie comes on and I get distracted..I'm half way through Shakespeare's (sp) Othello and I'm determined to finish! It's a cute story! Very soap opera-ish :o)
I got iRobot because I went to the movie's web site and reading about what's in the books the author writes, it sounded cool so I bought the book..I wanna read it before seeing the movie..I hope the movie follows the book..
I saw the movie of the Crucible a few times and have always wanted to read it! I've read Death of a Salesman..it was good..plus I LOVE reading plays *cough*Shakespeare*cough* and movie scripts *cough*Matrix12MonkeysClockworkOrangeEtc.*cough* so that should go fast..
I HATE Complete Idiot's Guide books..I prefer Dummies books..but this is all they had..I love reading about religions and how they compare..since really none of my books even touch wicca or witchcraft, I thought I should get a book on it..this book is supposed to tell ya the basics, so I thought that would be better than the other books there that didn't seem to give an overall view, so I got this one..The way it was in Media Play was a section of Bibles, a section about Religion (half of it seemed to be Christian and the "other" half was almost out of books), and a large "New Age" section where the wicca/witchcraft part was as big as the Bible section..I'm sorry, but I'd classify it as a "religion"..I'd also call books about Druid beliefs and ancient mythology should be a "religion"..but oh well..I'm wanting to buy some Mythic Tarot cards for Kitty, since I had to open the one I bought cuz I think my parents threw the old ones I had away or hid them..I want to find them because I heard it's better when they're give to you..the one's I've been using have been reliable and were given to me by my mom and I bought these new ones..so yeah..the superstition won't help me here..lol..well, anyway, they were 25 dollars there! So I'm just gonna get them new from ebay for $10..
I got the Donnie Darko soundtrack because I couldn't get it on iTunes..I like the music, especially the Mad World song at the end that gets stuck in my head for days..I recently figured out the melody on the piano a couple of weeks ago from having it in my head..
I saw A Chorus Line (1985 Movie) recently..It was nice, except I didn't like their style of singing..but I got the songs in my head and just HAD to hear it again since I've only heard the songs once..so I looked them up on amazon.com and listen to clips..I like the way the Original Broadway Cast's version better..it sounded more jazzy..then that led me to other musical soundtracks I've been wanting to see..so here's the list I DEFINATELY want to see either on DVD or even better, in the theater:
1) Cats - I listened to one song and I LOVED it!! So I downloaded 15 of the songs on iTunes..I just really like the sound..
2) Yentl - My mom played the soundtrack and I've been using it as a warm up before choir or just to practice singing..awesome songs with neat lyrics! The plot sounded neat, too.
3) Rent - I thought the song clips sounded neat..sounded like neat lyrics, too!
4) Les Miserables (sp?) - The music sounded neat :o)
If I won a million dollars, I'd take my family and friends and we'd all go vacation in New York and see broadway shows..and take pictures! I wouldn't force my friends..some of them like broadway and some like photography and stuff..so it would be fun..but I'd take a bus because I'm afraid to fly..

How I lost weight
I lost another 1-2 pounds in the last 3 days!!! and I barely did any excersize! just about 1/3 of my new excersize plan on half the days and ate about 2 more salads..Bunny must have been right..I must have gained muscle because now, I'm burning calories without excersizing much..and my stomach went down a little..I can't wait until it's down enough to where I have to buy new pants..my shirts are tight/fitted, so they won't be a problem..hopefully I can someday wear those skirts I got for free 3-4 years ago..(I got one size too small)..and those jeans that I LOVE, but can barely fit into..
Below I'm writing about my excersize routine, it sounds like a lot, but I've built up strength from being on crutches and crap, so to others, if you're not used to the certain excercises, you wouldn't have to do as many to get the desired effect..
So people reading this who want to loose weight, you could always try what I did/doing..basically, everything is based out of a chair since I can't get on the floor or out of bed (at least not without doing even more excersize)..
First, before you do any excersize: EAT! Eat something with carbs..I usually eat dry Golden Ghrams or a Chewy or something..this will give you energy to burn so you don't get as tired, also have water handy..even tho I drink soda so it's not as painful (caffeine is a pain reliever)..
So find a chair..one that either makes your theighs parallel to the floor (or lower, if you want an even better workout) and basically just stand up and sit down..start with 20 and work your way up..right now I do 3-6 sets of 20 (60-120) or more..
I can't do crunches on the ground, so I do it in the chair..it's best to have a chair where your theighs are parallel to the ground or higher..it's also better to wear shoes (for weight)..just sit at the very edge of the chair and bring your knees to your chest..if you can do it without holding on to the chair, it helps streghthen your back and stuff..you can do it with your knees folded or, for extra weight, with your legs out a little bit (causing you to use your back more, too)..start with 20 and work your way up..right now, I do 3-10 sets of 20 (60-200)..
Other ones I do are basic twists while sitting in the chair and circling my arms around..these excersizes I do more for cardio-type because I try to do it fast to get my heart rate up (even tho I really do all the excersizes quickly to keep my heart rate around 150 for about 30-60min)..right now, I do 6 sets of 20 (120) arm circles on each side and 120 twists..
Now, I don't do one excersize at a time, I first do 1 set of stands, 1 set of crunches, stands, crunches, stands, crunches, twists, arm circles on each side, twists, arm circles on each side, twists, arm circles on each side, then back to the stands and crunches, then back to the twists and arm circles, then finish with crunches (but every once in a while through out the day)..this usually takes me 30-60min. to get it all done..
at first, I tried doing this everyday (really only got around to it maybe 3 times in a week) and gained 4 pounds that week, BUT the next week, I did it once on Tuesday and every other day, I did 3 sets of stands and crunches and lost 2 pounds by that Saturday..so the muscle built up from the excersizes is still burning calories after you're done..
Also, food-wise..I eat what I want (heck, I eat shakes, 2-3 icecream bars in a day, or brownies, you name it!), but I seemed to loose more weight when I would eat 75% of a side salad every other day at least..I can't stand to eat a normal size salad..also, drink Propel water (especially if you like soda/pop) cuz the water has the same sugar taste as pop (Pepsi, to me) and it makes me crave soda less..without Propel, I drink 3 1/2 cans of Pepsi (that's 525 calories! or a whole meal or so)..with Propel, I get the water I need and cut my soda intake to 1-2 cans (about 150-300 calories)..that's 200 calories I don't have to burn!
Other things I've been doing is meditating on the color red..cuz I've read that it is supposed to promote personal health (and that I'm probably lacking red energy or lacking energy in my root chakra because I have arthritis)..after I started meditating on it, I automatically started to eat healthier..I started to like salads and WANTED to excersize..but then, this could have all been a placebo effect..
I also try to sing more, cuz when you sing correctly, you use your stomach muscles a lot..
also, I every once in a while crutch at school (meaning across campus a few times)..it's a small campus, but it's still a good workout..I also take a wheelchair and pull myself with my legs..what's tough about that is going up the "Passage" at columbus state..it's a slight incline and after doing a lot of excersize at home, I'm sore by the time I get across the 100 foot overpass..I use one foot at a time, so its like I'm pulling my weight on each leg and I'm sore from my calves to my butt from that..
so, that's pretty much all I've been doing for about 2 months..I was losing 2 pounds a week for 6 weeks, gained back (i thought 6, but it was really just) 4 in 2 weeks, and now I'm losing 2-3 in one week..so hopefully all this work is worth it..
Math is too easy!
I supposedly got the highest score in my class on my test recently..that suprized me because I got a 99%..I was expecting others to get 100s..especially since I finished first..I checked my answers 2 times, and was still first and the teacher was like, "don't you wanna check your answers?"..and I was like, "Don't scare me like that!!" well, I checked them and while I was checking them for the 3rd time, another girl turned hers in and the teacher was like, "don't you wanna check your answers?" and she said, "nah" and I turned mine in again right after that..we had 90 min. for the test..that girl and I did it in 20 min..and I don't even have a graphing calculator like you're supposed to have! It just goes to show that I SHOULDN'T BE IN THIS CLASS!!!
Well, we finally went over domains and ranges..I would have passed my proficiancy (sp?) test if someone reminded me that the domain is the range of x-values and the range is the range of y-values and how to write it with negative infinity and infinity and crap..BUT NO!! I can't even remember the last part of Algebra 2 in high school from 2 years ago..so they put me in College Algebra 1 and even though the teacher is a good teacher (he explains everything in different ways to help people understand and does lots of examples), it is too easy! I want to challenge my brain, not go over math I already know..but I guess it's ok..at least a graphing calculator might not be needed..I'm not gonna spend 80 dollars when my 15 dollar scientific calculator can handle the problems..heck, I could do it on paper, but it would take forever!
Kitty refered me to Stand Online..for those who aren't from Ohio, Stand is a campaign for getting smoking restricted on the media, meaning higher ratings (such as PG-13 or R) for movies with smoking in it..I like that! I like the fact that their wanting to limit the exposure through the media and not trying to limit people's freedom to smoke (except for the fact that they want smoking out of public buidings such as bars because of the second hand smoke effecting the waitresses/waiters)..
Well, I registered and got a new shirt!!! The one that's bright orange that says "Non-Smoking section" like if you can bring your own non-smoking section everywhere..well, I'm not TOTALLY against smoking..I believe people should be free to smoke outside (cuz it's less likely to bother someone else)..so it's funny that I'd wear a Stand t-shirt..
So I thought, I'm gonna go with that!!! I'm gonna wear ironic t-shirts! Does anyone know where I can get a free PETA shirt? or a Vegan shirt? I wanna go somewhere public with the Vegan shirt and eat a chicken leg, steak, eggs, milk, cheese, etc. or go to Wendy's (one that has an inside resturant) and order 2 orders of chicken nuggets..or a hamburger w/ cheese..or a kids meal and get a choccolate milk (I didn't realize until recently that the milk and fruit option was just in Ohio until just recently)..
I would love to wear Christian shirts with like, Jesus or something and read a translation of the Quran or read a book about Jewis proverbs in a public place or in front of a religious place..
Go to a church with a pokemon, harry potter, or pentagram t-shirt..
Maybe wear the Stand "Non-smoking" t-shirt in an airport, school, or hospital or someother place known for not allowing people to smoke..
I'd like to either piss people off (harmlessly) or confuse them..
Oh, another question! What should I be for halloween (I want to MAKE it out of materials)..last year, I was a "white bag of trash" or "white trash" where I just had a bunch of trash taped on to a white trash bag..and the year before that, I was a Can of Pepsi, but after taking 3 hours to paint the thing, it tore before I could wear it (it was too flimsy)..
I could go as a color composition assignment..cuz I got a D in that class lol..basically badly tape a modulated color contrast of Color Aid squares all over a shirt..I loved Kitty's idea of being a box last year and Austin did a good job on his bear AV..

New Domain
I bought HopeMoore.com a couple of days ago and will be moving all of my art and personal stuff there..I will keep the stuff up at this domain for another 4-6 months and make them mirror sites until I eventually just use hopemoore.com as the personal domain..I'm not getting rid of whatevercreations.com and will continue to host here and leave my award, listing, etc. sites here..I will also have my business site here..the main page wiill have 3 options where people can choose to go to the business site, my personal domain, or a site for the sites hosted here..
This way, people can find me better, especially since I've designed under Hope Moore and not always under Whatever Creations..
But at the new domain, I will have my writing (more than what's here), artwork (what's here, plus traditional art, doodle database, print work, experiments, whatever videos I end up making, and my projects), Beliefs (I'll actually write them this time), and blog archives dating back to 2001..I might put on some snap shot photo albums of my friends..
H20 will be turned into a Movable Type-driven photoblog that others can comment on..
What's Been Going On
Well, if you look at H20, nothing much..80% or more of those photos where taken at home..how sad is THAT???? I should be getting my temps in September and if I can drag people places, I'll go to more places..I want to go EVERYWHERE lol..I'm weird..it's like because I'm in the house so much, that when I can, I'll be going out and doing things a lot..even if it's just to go somewhere just to take photos..
I've been designing the sites for Ohio Literacy Network and the Greater Hilltop Communty Development Corporation..it gets on my nerves with the internship because for 2 years straight, they teach us to do 1-3 interfaces a WEEK..now I'm doing 1 site in 10 weeks??? Geez..
I love my new camera! It's a Kodak EasyShare DX7440 and I bought it for under $350 and it rocks! I can control aperture and shutter speed and it has a 4x optical zoom! It also does long exposure well!! I love it! And this will allow me to use the Nikon D100 only for jobs like weddings or better professional photos..the new one I'm using for better looking snapshots..I'm so happy I can control depth of field in a "snapshot"..it's almost made the snap shots I'm taking into actual art photography because I automatically previsualize the photo and try to focus on composition..

What Makes a Professional?
I still feel weird when I say that I'm a "photographer"..I can say "web designer" because I've been doing it for years and have designed many sites..but I've only done REAL photography (meaning controling the camera to get the photo rather than just snapping photos everywhere without a care..which I guess means digital photography is helping those that wouldn't normally care into REAL photography because they can quickly make decisions by simply looking at the LCD screen, which I think is great) for less than a year and a half..so I feel weird saying I do "photography" and people guess that I'm a professional..
What's the difference? I previsualize my photos (even the ones I call lucky because what I call "lucky" is getting what's in my head without much trouble), where others that say they do photography just snap the photo and then later try to figure out how to change it or do effects to it..I try to take photos so that I'd either have to do nothing to them, or just grey balance and/or curves can get the desired effect..I'm also one of these people who want almost total control over the image..where some people just take the photo, I'm like I want this here and that color there, twist that vace slightly left, get closer cuz I want this in focus and that out of focus just lightly to create depth, but still be recognizable..even in candid photos I'm trying to find the best angle and background if possible..
But then, there's also the know how..even tho I know how to develop and print black and white film and print color film and can dodge, burn, and crop in a darkroom (even the color one where it is pitch black and can't even see your hand) and know some basic lighting techniques to help me make better photos, I still wouldn't say that's what a photographer needs to be a professional..people can be professional digital photographers and do just as well as as an analog photographer..even tho I'd have to say that film photographers with that knowledge are more likely to be great because of the work that has to go into it and money spent to take the classes, people don't go into it just so they can take "snapshots"..they often go into it to continue to take photos of their lives how they see it (art photography) or for commercial reasons (such as photography for a job)..
I don't know..I will still say I'm a photographer because I do take pictures..I guess what I'm really trying to figure out is when to call myself a professional photographer..
But I tell those wanting to get into photography to "take pictures everywhere and of everything!"..you can tell my friend, Angie's friend will probably be a good photographer now or later on because she was having fun taking photos of everything..and it's good that they were using an SLR..that way they can experiment..it's kinda hard to experiment if they had a POS digital like I had before lol.. it was all wide angle and all automatic..Now I have to see if I can sell it :o/
My Twin or Double Life?
Ok, CREEPY, MAN!!! There's a teacher or someone in the administration at Columbus State Community College (where I attend) that looks like me and is also in both a wheelchair and crutches and has Arthritis! CREEPY!! First, this older nice lady came walking out of Nestor Hall when I was turning in my final and she looked familiar and she came up to me and said "Hi! I put the papers in your mailbox."..I was thinking it was my neighbor, Jan, and I just forgot what she looked like or something, so I was like "Ok.." Eventually it came out that I didn't recognize her and she said, "You're not McClendlon?" or McAlister or something like that and I was like, "No." and she was like "that's right, she has lighter hair.."..this was when I was in a wheelchair..the lady that looks like me had a "mailbox" in Nestor Hall meaning she is a teacher in the administration somehow..
Well, a few weeks later, I'm crutching to math (for excersize, I decided to crutch across campus with a 5 pound bookbag on my shoulders) and I'm crutching by and this nice lady cop (who might be Kim, the dispatcher) who I think was the same lady that asked me why I was taking a picture of Aquinas Hall came up and said "Hi! What's going on? Something happen?" (meaning my crutches)..and I was like, "Oh, I have arthritis." and she was like, "I know" I was like, how would she know? She said "What happened with your boyfriend?" and since I'm not dating anyone right now, I was like, "Uh..What?"..she was like, "You know, your boyfriend on Oak Street." and I was like, "I think you have the wrong person." and she was like, "Really? That's strange. I guess I'll see you around!" and she left..
IT'S SO WEIRD!!! I wanna know who this lady is! Is she my twin in the world? I joke around saying I have a double life or some split personality lol..god that's creepy..I wonder if my friends have said hi to her..
Weight Loss is HARD
I lost 12 pounds in 6 weeks and it was ALL from my theighs..grr..I want it gone from my stomach and face! if I had a small stomach and large theighs, I'd look thinner, but having small theighs and a large waist is making my look BIGGER..grr..I thought it was because my excersizes focused on my theighs, so I changed it and switched to doing more stomach excersizes..I gained back 2 pounds..then I increased my excersizes by 200-300% and did both stomach and leg excersizes and gained 4 pounds!!! well, last week, I only did the 45-60 min work out on one day and just a little excersize on 2 other days and I ate 2 salads and lost 2 pounds in 4 days!! So I'm hoping to continue eating salads and over excersizing..cuz I wanna loose 21-46 pounds by January..currently, I'm not at high risk or anything and 21 pounds off would be the best weight for me, but I think it would look better if I lost 46..I'd stop trying if I started to look too thin tho..I basically want to get rid of this fat..

I wanna vote in November, but not for president..I don't like either one of them..I'll write in Mickey Mouse like my friend seggested..but I will vote on the other issues such as no on the banning of gay marriage thing (I'm against any amendment that prevents happiness..especially if it is harmless and peaceful..how are people "defending" marriage if they are preventing it between two loving people??? Who cares if they are the same sex? If they are in love, they should be able to get married!! If anything, leave it up to the states and people can decide where to live)..

I've written my views about abortion before..I think partial birth abortion should be banned cuz that's a full grown being..but the early-on abortion should be legal and great efforts should be made (like the Stand campaign for smoking, and My Anti-Drug for drugs) to make people not want to choose abortion..get it so that in our culture, we won't even think about it..just like the amount of smokers going down since the 50s..some day, people will not smoke..not because it will be illegal, but because they'll grow up in a culture where they are thought that's it's disgusting and a slow suicide..
Smoking- Right now, I'm not sure if it's been passed or what, but they want people not to be able to smoke within 20 feet of a public place..WHAT? I know smoking is bad for you, but it's addictive! At least start out saying 20 feet from a DOOR, not a public PLACE..the public place could come later..and then eventually, the slowly restricting of cigarette use will get people to want to quit until almost no one smokes..I just don't like them making such as DRASTIC change..people will fight it..but if done slowly, people will accept it..
I heard on the news the other day that people got mad that an athiest was invited to do the prayer thingy at a city council meeting..first of all, I never understood why they have prayer at a CITY council meeting and why they have prayer at graduation..It's ok if they say "God" because most people can accept the word "god" as any supreme being..altho this goes against athiest views..but I don't think the prayers should go into having to believe in Jesus or whatever..BUT it would be cool if someone would talk about Biblical characters and also other mythical examples..that way, it's like using religion as an example, not the "only right path" that I keep hearing..and the athiest guy was like "I just wanted them to base their decisions on logic and reason" .. I LIKE THAT IDEA!!! People shouldn't decide something JUST because their religion says one thing, especially of there are groups (religious or otherwise) out there that believe in another side of the issue..
Ack! I'm getting more and more liberal! Some one save me! lol (I still say I'm down the middle leaning left because there are other issues like the war where I'm more on the right politically)
