East Elementary School in Athens, Ohio was demolished in summer 2019 to create room for a new building. The original building was filled with murals and ceiling tiles by several classes of students.

I took several still 360-degree photos throughout the building and the playground. Fellow MFA graduate Zul Tinarbuko shot several 360-degree videos of the playground as well. There will be a web element to provide these photos and a "tour" of the original building with recorded audio and information. Alumni and members of the community will be able to submit "memories" in text and media form.

Special thanks to Christopher Andersen, Theresa House, and her daughter, Nora.
