East Elementary School in Athens, Ohio was demolished in summer 2019 to create room for a new building.
The original building was filled with murals and ceiling tiles by several classes of students.
I took several still 360-degree photos throughout the building and the playground.
Fellow MFA graduate Zul Tinarbuko
shot several 360-degree videos of the playground as well.
There will be a web element to provide these photos and a "tour" of the original building with recorded audio and information.
Alumni and members of the community will be able to submit "memories" in text and media form.
Special thanks to Christopher Andersen
, Theresa House
, and her daughter, Nora.
