I love combining tools and experimenting with art and technology. Here are a few experimental projects.

LED "Mirror"
This project was inspired by Daniel Rozin's work. The LEDs light up based on the location of Pink Smiley Guy as if it were one line of a matrix of LED lights. The same code can be used to control moving objects, messages on screens, etc. I created this using TouchDesigner for blob tracking, Arduino to control the LED lights, and Processing to connect the two.

Alexa Skills
I created an Alexa skill for Shade Community Center for a History and Trends of AI, AR, and VR in Education class and created a presentation and tutorial about how others in the class can create their own skill. One version of this project involved creating an Alexa skill that "sings" the song "I'm Never Going to Give You Up" by Rick Astley.

While learning about Processing, a Java-based programming language, I created a mobile painting app. The user can choose a color and size of brush.

Technology & mediums used:

  • Arduino
  • Derivative TouchDesigner
  • Microsoft Kinect
  • Amazon Alexa
  • Alexa Skills Kit
  • AWS Lambda
  • Webcam
  • JavaScript
  • Processing
  • Python
