Seems to be a part of a series of dreams trying to calm down a dream character about the fact that I’m moving near Athens.
Showing My New Apartment
I remember showing the character the apartments I am seriously considering renting. I demonstrated my fears of falling and rolling (somersault style) into the ravine.
House Party
Later, I was in my parents’ house pre-2004 renovation and some of my old coworkers/friends were there. I was sitting in the doorway between the living room and dining room and the dining room had the old wooden table. I recognized Axel and he said something to Charlie (I think) who was looking at a computer and trying to figure something out. Axel turned and I said Hi. He paused and as he walked to the other side of the room away from me, he smiled, did a small wave, and winked. It was like he wanted to acknowledge me, but felt uncomfortable walking over because his wife was there somewhere.
A girl with a baby sat to my left and I thought it was Leigh, but realized Leigh was sitting to my right on the couch and the girl to my left was Axel’s wife, Katherine.
There was something about a cup of vanilla ice cream with toppings melting in a plastic container (looked like it was from Dairy Queen) and I caught the dripping ice cream and joked that you know I used to be poor when I won’t let ice cream drip. I asked if I could have the ice cream cup and Axel’s wife said “No” and took it from me. I think she made the cups and it was the last one. She obviously wasn’t being mean, just honest.
