I had a dream last night that I went on vacation with my family, some guy I like, and a stranger who ended up being a fun person to hang out with. We were wanting to extend the vacation, but thanks to a winter storm named ‘Prince William,’ we rushed to get home.

Man, crazy dreams. I dreamed I was part of a group set out to bomb a building.
The dream was so weird. We weren’t out to hurt anyone, just blow up part of the building. The character played by Jessica Biel was the one who was going to wait until everyone left and trigger the bomb at 1:11 a.m. Then, she flaked and I was put in charge of detonating the bomb. So many people were in on this plot, it was hard to know who wasn’t.
Even the very nice, soft spoken administrative assistant was part of our group. She was so cute because she felt so bad after letting something slip. lol

So here’s what I remember almost two weeks later:
I remember sitting on a friend’s couch and he and Biel’s character leaned over and Biel’s character said that we must blow up part of the building in which I work in waking life. We were all in agreement.
Biel’s character was supposed to place the bomb on my floor and trigger it at 1:11 a.m. We didn’t want to hurt anyone, but I didn’t understand why we couldn’t have done it around 10 p.m.
I also found out that the administrative assistant, a very nice, soft-spoken woman who always seems happy, was in on the plot and so were most of the faculty on my floor. It’s like, they all wanted to see this happen. Because so many people were in on this, I didn’t know who I could talk to about it. Several of the faculty members packed up a lot of their office things to take home with them.
I was over-detailed about how to hide who was to blame that in one part, I was in the main lobby/lounge near the fireplace looking at my photography equipment. The admin. assistant came over and had me go back to the dean’s office to introduce me to a new employee.
One of the bomb plot group members walked out of the door and I rushed back to my stuff, pretending to be worried about being robbed. He was supposed to steal my camera and hide the bomb (in a small-ish case) in my bag. Instead, he left an old dSLR from 2004. I was like, this makes NO sense.
Then, I was informed that Biel’s character flaked out on her part of the plan and it fell on me to see it through. I planned on hiding the bomb in my office and working late. Then, I’d put it in the lobby before 1:11 a.m. However, I remembered the nice night custodian might either (a) find the bag and put it back in my office to be nice or (b) get hurt.
My original role was to act like a photojournalist/reporter and interview a top-level employee in another building for an alibi and to keep her from getting hurt. Now, I was expected to be in two places at once!
The admin. assistant said something in front of a co-worker that she thought gave away too much info and she looked worried. I played it off, asking about the “assignment” I was supposed to do and that I didn’t know where I needed to be.
That’s when a security guard came over to us and said, “We need to talk…”
Then, I woke up.
I don’t remember much, but there was a scene where I was trying to get a bad guy to let some old friends go.
At one point, the bad guy offered me food, but I thought it was poisoned or drugged. My friends made me feel bad that I haven’t found a way to free them, yet. One friend, Sam*, was tied up but was able to spill apple juice into the food the bad guy wanted me to eat, rendering it inedible.

I remember walking toward the back of a bar/restaurant and feeling like I’ve been there before. The place was sparse as if they just opened the place with some cheap faux wood round tables and vinyl and metal chairs in the main area. There weren’t too many decorations and didn’t even have an “atmosphere” that most bars and restaurants that I’ve visited have. There was a small group of about three people hanging out at one of the tables near the bar and there was a bartender.
I remember looking around and remembering that there was a room in the back the last time I was there that was more of the place you could relax in. I walked to there and found it as a complete wall. I could tell that there was a door there, but it was filled in and plastered over.
I went back to the other side of the place where there were a doorway and hallway to the restrooms and I thought I could get to that room that way. I found an old door to the room with a “shabby chic” effect on the door. I tried opening it, but it was secured with a nail or something near the top, so I gave up.
I went back to the main room and near the hallway doorway and found a doorway to a dark room and further back in the room, an open door to outside. The room only appeared dark because of the sun coming in the far door was so bright.
I was bored exploring this place, so I thought I’d go outside. I was a little apprehensive because I really don’t like being able to see my surroundings in dark rooms. I assume people could be there for bad reasons or objects in my way. I decided to just rush to the door and not worry about it.
About 1/4 the way to the “bright light” door, I felt people grab me and pull me back to the restaurant. It wasn’t forceful, it was like friends looping their arms around mine. It felt like three people.
The dream went lucid a little and I thought I could change my interaction with these arms pulling me back, like shaking hands and giving high-fives. In the end, they went away and I started toward the light again. Two very long arms grabbed me by the legs and pulled me back. Again, it did not feel forceful.
I woke up with my left arm asleep and, while half asleep, worried that this “bright light” thing was similar to some near death experiences and I thought I was sleeping in a way that cut the oxygen off to my brain. Since I was alive, I was like, “Woohoo! I’m alive!” and went back to sleep.
I had a lot of dreams when I passed out from being sick – most of them about getting ready and leaving for work.
Outside of that, I remember a small scene with Charlie* asking me what I was doing as I tried to climb up onto a wall made of stones. I think there were other people nearby, all looking in one direction.
