I’ve been slacking. What details I remember and haven’t written, yet:
A while back, there was a neat scene of a TV show, maybe it was a dream game(?) where someone main character girl was in an office with federal agents. She wasn’t supposed to be there and they were looking for her outside of the building. Someone hacked in and was able to communicate with her, telling her exactly when to move to avoid detection. The weird part was that time slowed down as she went from point to point – I don’t know if this was for the audience to see how close she was or if she was super fast. Eventually, she ended up going running in front of someone and they said, “There she is!”
Later, she and another person helping her out were in a glass room looking at a monitor trying to decipher some message. It involved an Agent Glass. While they worked on that, some technician in a lab coat was trying to get into the room, but they had to override the lock on the door.
In another dream, I remember sneaking through corridors trying to avoid eye contact with the people walking around because I wasn’t supposed to be there.
In last night’s dreams, I remember a cat holding onto a wall of a cubical. Its weight brought it down and its claws made marks into the wall. There was also some Asian guy who looked part Filipino.
This song played on a radio in a recent dream. I thought it was from hearing it earlier in the day, but now, I wonder if it was from a Shades of Blue promo because that show has Ray Leota, who played a character in another dream.
Hello darkness, my old friend
I’ve come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Within the sound of silence
In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone
‘Neath the halo of a street lamp
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence
And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never shared
No one dared
Disturb the sound of silence
“Fools,” said I, “you do not know
Silence like a cancer grows
Hear my words that I might teach you
Take my arms that I might reach you”
But my words like silent raindrops fell
And echoed in the wells of silence
And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon god they made
And the sign flashed out its warning
In the words that it was forming
And the sign said “The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls
And whispered in the sound of silence”
What I still remember:
I was sleeping on a bed in the dining room of the house I lived in prior to 1993. My mom was there. She went to the window and looked worried. I went over and saw a girl and guy trying to break in the back door. Our window was open, so I said, “Can I help you?”
They looked over and I can’t remember if they said anything. I said, “We don’t have much after the last guy cleared us out.” I tried to lie that we were robbed before, so robbing us is a waste of time. I hoped they didn’t see that my mom was a hoarder and we actually DID have stuff.
Later, my mom said she heard something and I looked out of the window and the intruders knocked on a window from the inside. I went to the kitchen and asked if they wanted anything and offered them water.
Had a weird dream that terrorists (young, barely adult Middle Eastern men that were raised in poverty without any goals or role models) taking advantage of a nearby bombing through burning coal at us. I kept kicking it back or away from flammable things. One girl’s dress caught fire and she didn’t listen to me when I told her to fall on the fire to smother it, so I had to knock her down to smother it. Others were afraid of the burning coal, but I was like, “They’re going to eventually run out.”

The dream took place in some flat city.
“Drank a half bottle of water before bed. Having to pee made me have very vivid dreams, but woke me up partway through a sleep cycle, so I feel like I’m still in a dream. I keep feeling like I need to return to the movie theater where I left my friend, make the website in my head, look into when the next Beginning Russian course will be taught, write a story that takes place partially in Ashville because of all the “seed feeders,” give the Newseum the Go Pro photos I took for them, and unpark my car from the top of a minivan on some college campus I’ve been to before in a dream.”

I will expand on these later.
