There are people with new layouts, which I’ll plug later.. *cough*at least see Genny’s site*cough* She’s so lucky! She’s 16 and in high school and has GRACHIC DESIGN and PHOTOGRAPHY classes..Teays Valley should at least get something better than MSPaint on their computers..last time I heard, our school was getting Front Page 2000 this year..wooptidoo, right? especially when DreamWeaver is the industry standard..also, what good will Front Page do if the students aren’t allowed to have copyrighted material on there sites and have to delete them after a few months? Also (I know I’m gripping about everything..maybe I should cut my nails) I’m writting on my lap for 2 of my classes..that’s like 9 hours a week of hunching over my lap with a dull squeeky pencil..they should really make the desks wheelchair accessable..even if I wasn’t in the wheelchair, I’ve gotta face the chairs of doom III (college desks that are smaller than a piece of paper)..my teacher suggested a laptop..that would be a lot better than lugging around 3 extra heavy books just so I have a good writting surface on my lap and then not getting down the info I need because I don’t write fast..but when I asked my financial aid (who is willing to buy hand control steering and pay for my 1,200 - 5,000 dollar tuition) to pay for at least part of it, they said that it might take a while and I might not ever get it..I thought a laptop would be 1,500 dollars (cuz my friend got one at that price) but today, I found a laptop with Windows XP, Microsoft Office XP for Home, network card, DVD ROM, pretty good amount of memory, wireless modem, a USB optical mouse, etc. for about 1,000 dollars..I don’t know why my financial aid won’t just pay for it..my dad has an old laptop here that is about 10 lbs+ and doesn’t have a CD ROM or USB ports and has an OLD Windows and MSWord, so what I do on that won’t work on newer models and vice versa..with the DVD ROM/CD ROM, I can install software I need for school (I’ll get illegal copies from my friends) like PhotoShop 6/7, Illustrator, QuarkXpress (for Windows, I hope), Dreamweaver, Freehand, etc. and with the USB ports, I can have a normal mouse and a portable zip drive (which I need cuz everything at CS seems to be on a zip disk)..so I can work on my homework BEFORE class!!! I figured that 32 dollars a month for the laptop, I can still afford rent, gifts for friends, books for school, Psychology Class, and a camera for B&W Photography and still have money left over!

For Understanding the Digital Revolution class, I will create my small web design business called..wait, not yet, just in case someone else decides to get the domain name..but the abbreviation is LMC..I really hope the full name doesn’t turn people away thinking I’m too lazy or impulsive..but one of the examples the teacher showed us was this one person’s site that did sites for photographers..a basic site with subpages and 50 thumbnails for 500 dollars..um..does anyone see a problem here? I guess she got 2 customers right away..are they nuts? or rich? My site will be for artists in general and pricing will be based on the time it takes me set up/update and how much material it will be..artists aren’t always rich enough to pay 500 dollars for their site..heck, they can learn on their own for 150-300 dollars..that’s why with my services, an average price for a CUSTOM web site with 10 subpages, 30 thumbnails, and forms would be about 70 dollars (30 for template, 20-40 for set up) with 5-25 dollars a month depending on how much has to be updated or changed (I do things fast, so it most likely be 5 dollars a month) so for a year, it would be 125 compared to 500 so ha!..not only will I get profit, but the artists can show off their work and even sell it and they won’t go broke getting their name out there..I would scan and resize their work, if they send it too me and pay for shipping for 10 dollars an hour and ship it back to them..hey, for 30 more dollars and 2 dollars more a month, they can have a domain name, e-mail, site search, and a shopping cart :o) If they had a company and wanted a domain name and sites for lets say 5 of their employees, THAT’s when it would be 500 dollars (they also get a small discount)..This way, both the clients and I will be happy and they won’t be overpaying me (I’m just too nice to receive tons of money for something that doesn’t take much energy out of me)..

I went through my computer and found scanned photos and uploaded those, but I want to put an explaination to each one, so you won’t see them for a while..also, I just recently figured out how to fix the problem caused by CVS, so I’ve gotta redo the prom photos..I also have ideas for new pages, but want to put up Michelle’s layout first so I can have that up for at least 2 weeks before putting up my Valentine’s layout for February..but my computer is being mean (I’m typing this on my dad’s) and locks up every 30 mins..so after I get stuff done tonight, my dad will set up the new computer for me (he has to do the networking again, so I might not be able to update for a while)..but when I get onto the new computer, I’ll set the new layout up with some new content!

Being in Intro to Graphic Design has made me want to do print work as well in the future..our first assignment is to create a newsletter with the text they gave us..the bad thing is that we can only use 2 colors and and the graphics they give us..I’m trying to find a way I can make the Calendar of Events more interesting..but I’ll probably get points taken off for using more graphics (which I’m not, the “appearence” of the graphics are really made from empty colored text boxes)..

I’m weird..and I don’t know why I’m telling y’all this..but does anyone else hear things that ain’t there? In the past, I would play with a gameboy for a few hours and then that night I can’t sleep because I would hear gameboy noises..I mean as if someone was playing a game in my room..one time with my friend, we put a quarter in one of those kiddie rides in the front of Dollar General and after it stopped, we still heard it..but this weird quirk is taking on a whole new dimention..cuz yesterday I could have sworn I heard a cell phone dialing and a music box play..and there was no music box and the phones were off..other weird things: ok, so it’s not weird, just unnerving..I’ve been dreaming inside a dream inside a dream again and each time I honestly believe I’m awake..but at least it’s not as scary..maybe I should get back into writing my dreams down, doing tarot card and palm reading, and actually trying to astral project or remote view or something..maybe then, my dreams won’t feel so uncontrolable..

OMG! That happens to me too lol! At night or when I’m trying to sleep I always think I hear alarm clocks, or cell phone rings, or video game sound effects. At my high school, I’m not really sure what kind of computer stuff we have, but my sister told me that they have PSP7 & MSPaint. And we have photography class & a few computer classes (including a web design course), but I don’t think we can take them til 10th grade. Oh and thanks for the huge plug :) When you put up my layout, I probably will be on vacation :( But that’s ok, I guess I’ll see it when I get back (monday).

Yah. I’m happy our schoo has a teacher that knows his stuff when it comes to art and graphic arts…Hehe. But yah. I hear sounds at night as well…More like voices though. I would say it’s a bit scary. :D

Do your voices have conversations like mine do? lol..I think it happens right when we begin dreaming so we can consciously hear it..
