Direct linking: FAILED
I set up the site so no one can direct link..I had to pay 25 dollars extra this month because of bandwidth theft..I also put it on //michelle because that’s the site most people are stealing from, but I’ll soon put it on //sam and the other subdomains..people love your graphics guys..I’m just trying to protect them..

Woo hoo, new layout. I know Im late, but yeah I hate people who direct link. I installed something like that….but it doesnt work.

Ummm I understand that people are stealing my graphics & stuff & you had to pay extra, but can I just put a right click block on the pages instead because none of my graphics are showing up at all for any of my sites. And if I uploaded them somewhere else, I would have to change the addy’s for everything, which would take forever.

Sheila, since you have a subdomain, you can have as many sites as you want..and after I deleted the old sites that weren’t being used, i’ve got more room now..
Michelle, I took off the direct linking thing because both your site and mine had weird image loading problems..DON’T disable the right clicking because people need to right click to save your buttons to their server and the bandwidth stealers can still look at your source and can copy your code..you can try scaring them off by putting comments warning that you can find and track those who direct link and can report them to athorities (this might work on amatures, but not long time designers)..actually, I can tell you everyone who is direct linking and you can do what you want with that info..

ok thanks for removing the direct linking thing. Yeah, I’m so stupid, I just realized that I can’t do the right click thing because of the people who are honest. I will put up a warning on all my pages containing graphics asap. And please e-mail the evil people :P Hehe I really wanna know who they are.
