So yeah..
I think I’ll make the dream in my last post into the story I have to write..it’s between that and the photo/time travel one..the dream one would be easier ‘cuz the characters are based on my personality a little and “Charlie”’s..I’m gonna have it where the backstory will be told through dream/memories..and basically “Charlie” chooses to go into the game because he felt that he should try to shut it down and free those inside..I think I’ll make his father be one of the players..The character I played in the dream choses to go because she wants to protect “Charlie” and talk him out of it at the last minute, but ends up fighting to help the others along with “Charlie”..
In each corridor, I’ll put “Shafts” or “Shoots” or whatever they’re called where if a person wants to go back to the base or the game’s town (which is safe), they get in the shaft to take them right there..the reason the characters get to the end is because instead of going back home after each time, they end up collecting points (which can be given like money) and take food, water, and potion with them and sleep and eat while in the corridors..giving them strength to continue to the end..
The girl will have dreams and the game will not understand it..the dreams help her figure out the game..there will be characters who think she’s nuts because she remembers this “real world”..they think she’s either dreaming (they dream about the game world) or insane..”She talks about a ’son’ of some sort that’s bright I guess..” “Oh, really? That’s nice, does she know him from university? I might know is parents” when she’s talking about sunlight..’cuz they’ve never seen or at least had forgotten about the sun..and then there will be people always questioning..”why do we continue to fight in the upperlevels when the exit could be below us?” and she talks about faith and intuition and they still ask how high or how many levels up do you think it goes, does she think she can see them all, when they could lead to nowhere? She says the same thing about the lowerlevels..I think I’ll have one of the characters make a map which helps out in the end..the people who don’t believe in the “real word” tell her that the fighters are going in circles and there is nothing outside the compound..the compound is what it is and that’s that..why question it? Why fight it when fighting it could lead to the destruction of what you’re used to or dependant on?
Ok, yeah, so basically, there’s my “Goldfish”, and my “end of the word” theories together! and my weird philosophical insecurities..
Other than that, wish Bunny a happy belated birthday!
and thanks, CJ for the plug!
