I’m using this to my advantage! Normally, I will try to maintain a weight of 110-115, but if there is something coming up, such as needing to walk on ice or walk long distances, I can lose 5-10 pounds in a couple of days, making those tasks a little bit easier.
All I have to do is go back to my original habits with protein on the times I wanna lose weight and then go back eating enough when I wanna gain :o)

I’m pretty much the same. If I want to lose 10 lbs in a week, all I have to do is stop eating protein for that week. You’re hypoglyemic, right? So am I. It’s because our bodies process carbs too quickly, but not protein. You’re basically starving yourself by cutting out or down the protein.

Yep! I lost 15lbs two years ago when I was eating a lot of pasta because it was cheap, and next to no meat because it was expensive…then I learned I was hypoglycemic and had to start spending more money on food…

Wow! Really? Maybe you’re right - After I moved out from my parents about a year and a half ago, I wasn’t eating as much meat and lost 30 pounds quickly..it wasn’t until recently that I realizaed it was muscle mass that I lost…

And actually, now I’m thinking of not cutting down the meat because today I noticed how much high protein (or at least that’s what I think it is) gives me more stamina and a higher sex drive…it’s weird, but the only thing I’ve changed is adding more protein to my diet.
