I’m loving this control!

I have found out that I can control my weight with the amount of protein and simple carbs I eat in a day.

I’m using this to my advantage! Normally, I will try to maintain a weight of 110-115, but if there is something coming up, such as needing to walk on ice or walk long distances, I can lose 5-10 pounds in a couple of days, making those tasks a little bit easier.

Randomness: Dieting in Groups

I’m watching the news right now and they say dieting in groups help dieters succeed and keep off the weight.

I agree, but I don’t think it’s the support neccessarily from other group members. Especially with Americans and other individualistic societies, every one in that group is competitive. It’s wanting to be their best (as well as the best in the group) that drives them to success. That, combined with compasion and love for the other group members, leads to offering support and advice.
