It was not so long ago
You brought light to my day
The sun came into view
There were many rainbows
'Specially when I heard you say
"I love you"
"You're so beautiful
I'm glad to have you in my life"
You have such a powerful soul
I'm gonna dream of you tonight
When I looked in your eyes I could see
You knew we were meant to be
You were always sure
After all this time
I wanted to make you mine
But then I guess you always were
